How to Create SAP Logon Shortcut?

Creating a shortcut for SAP Logon can save you time and make accessing your SAP systems more convenient. Here’s how you can create a shortcut:

On Windows:

  1. Locate SAP Logon: Find the SAP Logon application on your computer. It’s typically installed in the “SAP” folder in your Start Menu or in your list of installed programs.
  2. Right-Click on SAP Logon: Once you’ve located SAP Logon, right-click on it.
  3. Select “Create Shortcut”: From the context menu that appears, select the “Create Shortcut” option.
  4. Move Shortcut: The shortcut will be created in the same location as the original SAP Logon application. You can either keep it there or move it to a more convenient location, such as your desktop.
  5. Rename Shortcut (Optional): You can right-click on the shortcut, select “Rename,” and give it a name that makes it clear it’s for SAP Logon.
  6. Use the Shortcut: Double-click on the shortcut to open SAP Logon directly, without having to navigate through menus.

On macOS:

  1. Open Applications Folder: Open the “Applications” folder on your Mac.
  2. Locate SAP Logon: Find the SAP Logon application in the “Applications” folder.
  3. Create Alias: Hold down the “Option” and “Command” keys on your keyboard, then drag the SAP Logon application to the desired location (e.g., desktop). This creates an alias, which functions like a shortcut.
  4. Rename Alias (Optional): You can click on the alias, press “Return,” and give it a name that indicates it’s a shortcut for SAP Logon.
  5. Use the Alias: Double-click on the alias to open SAP Logon directly.

Creating a shortcut or alias for SAP Logon streamlines your access to the application, making it easier to connect to your SAP systems whenever you need to.
