How can I delete my Google Pay purchase history?

How can I delete my Google Pay purchase history?

You can perform this process using either your computer’s browser or your mobile phone.

  1. Log in to your Google Account: Go to myaccount.google.com and log in with your Google account credentials.
  2. Access Data and Personalization: In the left-hand menu, click on “Data and personalization.”
  3. Navigate to My Activity: Under the “Activity and timeline” section on the right side, click on “My activity.”
  4. Exclude Activity: On the page that opens, you’ll see your activity history. To delete your Google Pay purchase history, you can either:
    • Click on “Exclude activity by” in the left-hand menu.
    • Click on “Exclude” located below the search field.
  5. Choose Deletion Interval: You’ll be given the option to delete the entire period (which deletes all Google Pay records) or to select a custom interval (specific dates for deletion). Since you want to delete the complete history, choose “All period.”
  6. Select Google Pay: Scroll down to find the list of activities, and uncheck “Select all” at the top-right corner to deselect all options. Then, scroll down further and check only “Google Pay.” Click “Next” to proceed.
  7. Confirm Deletion: Review the details of the deletion that you’ve selected. If everything is correct, click on “Delete” to confirm.
  8. Allow Time for Deletion: Your Google Pay purchase history will be erased within approximately 12 hours.

It’s important to note that this deletion will remove various types of transactions, including payments made in stores, apps, and on the web, funds sent or received from friends/family, and transaction attempts.

By following these steps, you can clear your Google Pay purchase history and maintain your privacy and data security.
