Slalom appoints Rob Woodstock as Managing Director, Client Services at Slalom London

London, 19th September 2023Slalom, the purpose-led, global business and technology consulting company, today announces the appointment of Rob Woodstock as Managing Director of Client Services.

With over 30 years of strategising and implementing major change in complex organisations, Rob is bringing a wealth of industry knowledge and transformation leadership expertise from his consulting leadership roles at Accenture and as the former Chief Commercial Officer for HMRC. During his career, Rob led strategic projects with C-level clients of multinationals such as Vodafone, HSBC and Disney EMEA and with UK Government colleagues amidst the challenges of Brexit and Covid-19.

In his new role, Rob will be working to evolve customer-centric solutions across multiple industries including Financial Services, Public Sector and Telecoms.  His breadth of experience will help executives to transform their organisation’s outcomes and capabilities whilst getting the best from their external partners.  Rob has a strong track record bringing novel tech and thought leadership to industry – a passion which was ignited when he ran an innovation centre early in his career.

Outside of work, Rob loves to play and watch live music – an interest that he has combined with business as an advisor to organisations like MOBO (Music of Black Origin). He has been recognised for leadership excellence externally by The Times as one of the Top 100 BAME Leaders in the UK and by the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply’s Procurement Powerlist.

Speaking on his appointment, Rob said: “Slalom business and technology consulting felt like a great fit right away; there was an instant feeling that my deeply held values dovetailed with its customer centric ethos; putting purpose and a fiercely-human led approach front and centre when driving outstanding business performance and capability growth.”

“I’m hugely energised to be joining Slalom at such an exciting time when we’re seeing a boom in technology-led innovation, not least AI, truly changing the game for clients. It’s a pivotal time for the future of work, and I am passionate about the responsibility that the leaders of today – like myself – have to create environments where today’s talent can seize the emerging opportunities.  I’m on a mission to work with clients and colleagues in a way that contributes to future generations having interesting careers and fulfilling lives. I’m thrilled to be joining the team and despite the challenges we all currently face I’m very optimistic about the future.”

Commenting on Rob Woodstock’s appointment, Slalom London General Manager, Todd Sink, added: “Rob will be an excellent addition to our team and we’re incredibly excited to have him on board. Having worked as an in-house change leader and procurer of services, and as a consultant delivering services, he is in an excellent position to see things from both sides of the table, which will be invaluable for our clients. We look forward to having Rob with us at Slalom and seeing the positive impact he will have on both our team and clients.”
